Colours and Shapes Recognition

   Young learners will choose different colourful (cut-outs of)shapes to make a figure of their own imagination.  It develops their creativity as well as a strong base of colours and shapes recognition .It's a fine motor skill which involves synchronization of the hands and fingers - with the eyes. Here, I am making a shape man with the different shapes by joining them with split pins. The National Center of Teaching and Learning illustrates the abilities that preschoolers should have improved through their fine motor skills in several domains. Children use their motor skills by sorting and manipulating geometric shapes .
