MATHS ACTIVITY
TURTLE EGG HUNT
The basic focus is on
cognitive skills. Its setting is rather dramatic with a puppet play. Young
learners will hunt eggs for the turtle hand puppet that shows her in a trouble.
Some elements of amusement and curiosity are here to motivate learners to solve
her problem. At early age children imagine puppets alive as they do not
understand the difference between reality and fantasy. Thus, their imagination
is stimulated, when you use a puppet. Hand puppets will help your children
develop some important learning skills. My aim is to utilise puppet in this activity to do a drill of numbers recognition from 1 to 10 and to improve their social skills such as getting along with others ,recognise the feelings of others, ask for help, stay calm in a problem and help others.
